Publication Schedule

The Journal of Islamic Economics and Philanthropy (JIEP) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published quarterly (4 issues per year). JIEP is committed to maintaining a regular and timely publication cycle to support the continuous dissemination of high-quality research in Islamic economics, finance, business, and social finance.

Publication Schedule:

    • Issue 1 (First Quarter): Published in August (Submission deadline: End of May)
    • Issue 2 (Second Quarter): Published in November (Submission deadline: End of August)
    • Issue 3 (Third Quarter): Published in February (Submission deadline: End of November)
    • Issue 4 (Fourth Quarter): Published in May (Submission deadline: End of February)

Editorial & Workflow Timeline:

    • Initial Editorial Screening: 1–2 weeks (desk evaluation by editors).
    • Peer-Review Process: 4–6 weeks by independent subject-matter reviewers.
    • Revision & Copyediting: 2 weeks.
    • Production & Layout: 1–2 weeks prior to scheduled online publication.
    • Overall Submission to Decision Time: 8–12 weeks.
  • Continuous Submission: JIEP accepts manuscript submissions continuously throughout the year (rolling submissions). Articles submitted after a specific issue deadline will automatically be considered for the subsequent issue.
